Photograph by Elaine Vizor ARPS- ‘The Weardale Tub’ unveiled 2nd July 2019 500 glass tiles made by people across Weardale. An amazing inspiring project i had the pleasure working on. I completed my MA in Glass at Sunderland 2006 and it was great to get back to glass. Its a lovely piece that you can visit at Killhope Museum. Photograph by Elaine Vizor ARPS- What a beautiful place I have discovered so much about the rich industrial past of this part of the North East, how the landscape has be shaped by industry and how we are now preserving the mineral wealth and nature in this precious land. If you haven’t visited yet, instead of heading over to the west this summer take a ramble up the Weardale way.
